County Limo Wine Tours is a boutique tour operator based in Prince Edward County (PEC), Ontario. The company specializes in curated wine and brewery tours for large groups, corporate outings and bachelorette parties. Although demand for wine tours in PEC has grown steadily, the business relied mainly on word‑of‑mouth and a simple website for lead generation. County Limo hired our agency to build a digital marketing program that would drive bookings while preserving the premium nature of their offering.
The Problem:
The goal was to increase tour bookings during the 2024–2025 season. County Limo faced several obstacles:
- Limited reach: previous marketing efforts were organic and had reached a plateau. Without paid promotion, searchers looking for “Prince Edward County wine tours” or “bachelorette wine tours” were booking with competitors.
- Seasonality: PEC’s tourism season is concentrated between spring and late autumn, so ads and budgets need to align with peak periods.
- High‑value purchase: wine‑tour bookings involve a larger per‑person cost and often require coordination for groups of six or more. This led to people visiting the website but questioning their purchase and not following through.
Solution:
- Search & Display Advertising: We built Google Ads campaigns targeting keywords such as “PEC wine tour,” “bachelorette wine tour,” “brewery tour Prince Edward County” and related phrases. Dynamic search ads and responsive search ads ensured coverage for long‑tail queries.
- Remarketing Campaign: A small remarketing display campaign targeted recent website visitors with images of County Limo’s luxury vehicles, tastings and group experiences.
- Seasonality Marketing: Reducing budgets in off season and increasing in pre-summer as well as summer seasons helps to utilize budget efficiently.
Outcomes & Impact:

Direct revenue growth:
At an average tour price of about CA$189–199 per person, the 405 conversions translated into significant gross bookings, yielding a strong return on ad spend.
Full utilization of the fleet:
Campaigns promoting large‑group capacity filled buses throughout summer weekends, especially for bachelorette parties and corporate outings. Group size questions were addressed up front—prospects learned County Limo can host up to 22 guests in one vehicle and 60+ across the fleet providing confidence for large bookings.
Expanded brand awareness:
Search campaigns captured thousands of new visitors who previously may not have considered County Limo. Branded searches and direct traffic increased as more customers recommended the service.
Increase number of fleet:
Since working with GCPM, County Limo’s fleet size has increased to support the demand further, expanding the business.
